At Horizon Over the Spectrum, we believe supporting neurodivergent families means supporting the whole family — including education and financial wellness.
In 2026, we’re excited to launch our Quarterly Family Education & Wellness Workshop Series, designed to provide practical tools, encouragement, and real-life strategies for caregivers navigating unique needs, busy schedules, and financial stress.

Session 1: Introduction to Money Management (FREE)
We’re kicking off the series with Session 1: Introduction to Money Management, led by Lisa Bailey, Founder of Triple M Money Management Matters. Here are the details:
This virtual, free introductory session is designed to meet families where they are. Whether you’re just beginning your financial journey or looking to reset and refocus, this workshop provides a supportive, judgment-free space to learn foundational money concepts.
Participants will learn:
• The basics of budgeting without overwhelm
• How to track income and expenses realistically
• Strategies to reduce financial stress
• Tools to support long-term financial stability
No prior financial knowledge is required. This session is about building confidence, not perfection.
Session 2: Budgeting & Financial Planning Workshop (IN-PERSON | PAID)
Session 2 builds on the foundations introduced in January and is designed for families ready to take the next step. This hands-on, in-person workshop will focus on creating a personalized budget and financial plan tailored to your family’s needs. Lunch will be included in your registration fees.
This session will include:
• Guided budgeting activities
• Practical planning tools you can take home
• Support with goal-setting and financial organization
• Dedicated time for questions and application
Participation in Session 1 is encouraged but not required. The proposed date for Session 2 is March 28. Full details will be provided in February!

Why This Series Matters
Families of neurodivergent children often face added financial pressures — from therapy costs to unexpected expenses. Our goal is to offer accessible, practical support that empowers caregivers to plan ahead while honoring their family’s unique circumstances.
This quarterly series is one of the many ways Horizon Over the Spectrum is committed to strengthening families through education, community, and care.
