Join 4-H Cloverbud Club

Horizon Over the Spectrum is proud to partner with DeKalb County 4-H to relaunch the Cloverbud Club, designed specifically for youth in Kindergarten through 3rd grade.

4-H is backed by the University of Georgia Extension and a nationwide network of educators and volunteers. It’s more than a club—it’s a launchpad for leadership, discovery, and friendships that grow for a lifetime.

Who Can Join?

Children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade living in DeKalb County are welcome to enroll in the Cloverbud program. This is a wonderful introduction to the world of 4-H, preparing youth for competitive project work in later grades.

No prior experience required—just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm! Meetings will be held on the third Saturday of each month

Co-led by our founder and volunteer leader, Dr. Simbi Animashaun, the Cloverbud Club offers fun, age-appropriate opportunities for children to build confidence, curiosity, and life skills through hands-on learning experiences in areas like:

Explore the wonders of the world around them through hands-on science experiments, nature walks, gardening, and discovery-based play. From planting seeds to learning about insects and weather, this area nurtures a love for learning and an appreciation for the environment.
